Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Clipnova (the "Service"), a web-based video editing and repurposing tool that helps you cut long videos into short clips, add captions, translate captions and prepare exports for social platforms. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.

1. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to the videos, audio, text and other material you upload or link ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process and transform Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use Your Content to train AI models.

You confirm that you own Your Content or have all rights and permissions needed to edit and repurpose it, including content you submit by link. You must not submit content that infringes anyone's rights.

3. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend accounts that violate it.

4. Subscriptions, credits and payment

Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. Plans include a monthly allowance of processing minutes ("credits"); unused plan credits do not roll over. Top-up credits do not expire while your account is active. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, who handles payment, invoicing, sales tax and VAT, and customer billing enquiries.

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

5. AI-assisted features

Some features (transcription, clip suggestions, caption translation, copy and script suggestions) use machine-learning models. Output may be inaccurate. Review results before publishing; you are responsible for what you publish.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change features with reasonable notice where changes materially reduce what you paid for.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. On termination we delete Your Content in line with our Privacy Policy.
